Cancellation Policy

How to cancel your Avuno care plan or project, and what happens next. Month-to-month, no lock-in.

Last updated: 4 July 2026

This Cancellation Policy explains how to cancel services provided by Avuno Technologies (Pty) Ltd ("Avuno", "we", "us") and what happens when you do. It should be read together with our Terms & Conditions and Refund Policy.

1. Care plans (monthly)

  • Care plans are month-to-month with no lock-in — you may cancel at any time.
  • Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period: your website and services remain active until then, and your plan simply stops renewing. You will not be billed again.
  • How to cancel: from your dashboard at account.avuno.co.za (Cancel subscription), or by emailing hello@avuno.co.za. You can resume before the period ends if you change your mind.
  • Fees already paid for the current period are not refunded — see our Refund Policy.

2. Missed or failed payments

If a care-plan payment fails, we will attempt to notify you and retry the payment. Continued non-payment may result in your website being suspended until the payment is resolved, after which it is reactivated automatically.

3. Project work

  • You may cancel a project before work begins for a full refund of any deposit paid.
  • Once work has started, cancellation is subject to payment for the work completed to date, as set out in our Refund Policy.

4. Cancellation by Avuno

We may suspend or cancel services for non-payment, abuse, unlawful content, or a material breach of our Terms & Conditions. Where practical, we will give you reasonable notice.

5. What happens to your website

If a care or hosting plan is cancelled, your website may be taken offline once the paid period ends. You remain the owner of any deliverables paid for in full, and we can provide an export of your content on request.
